As stated in the other reviews, all things considered it is a bit pricy. This does require a significant amount of time and understanding to get up and running. You need to download and install DiverLog, then install the cable/USB driver and finally configure "Add a Computer" the DiverLog Application to sync/handshake with the PDC. I'm my case I own an Oceanic ProPlus 3 and this cable/configuration worked just fine. There are other alternatives out there (DiveNav DCbuddy) that are equally pricey however rather than requiring a USB connection (i.e. computer/laptop only) the cable plugs into a Bluetooth transmitter and you can then connect to any device (smartphone, tablet, computer, laptop) using Bluetooth functionality. If you do use DiverLog you can push/sync your dive data/logs to all other devices so your information can be easily accessed virtually anywhere with an internet connection. Oceanic is an expensive brand but you get what you pay for. Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it.
