As other reviewers have mentioned, the front support bar is awfully low. As a bigger person, it was uncomfortable to sit at the desk, even with my chair at its lowest, and I found myself choosing to work from the couch more often than not over the six or seven months I've owned this desk.However! When I removed the front support, it became comfortable to use the desk again (and doesn't seem to be any less sturdy.) I left the corner supports and a small angle of the front support for it to connect to, but removed most of it using a small hand saw (use something more powerful if you've got it) and a hammer to brute force it when the cuts were made—the front support is held on by half a dozen staples.I think this is the first time I've ever used a saw, so it's not perfect, but it's fine. Once I find some sandpaper and some white paint for the raw edges, it should be pretty unnoticeable unless you're looking for it.If you're willing to DIY a little (or you have skinny legs), this is a great desk. It's affordable, sturdier than you'd expect for the price, and it looks good. The drawers are spacious and pull out smoothly.Very cute desk! Easy to put together, took about 30 min. It could be a little sturdier but good for the price. When I first received this desk I was missing more than half the desk. I got ahold of the seller and they responded immediately. They said they were going to send the missing parts and ended up sending a whole new desk! Shipping took awhile but with COVID bad again it’s understandable. The second one came a little banged up on the top but ended up using the old top. Very good seller and would recommend this cute little desk for the price!Overall this desk is amazing for the price. It is super easy to assemble. The desk comes already build all you have to do is put on the legs with an allen key. The desk is a little smaller than what the description says, but was fine with me considering my daughter's room is small, and i needed a small desk. The only problem I have with the desk is that the desk did come chip in some places and the handle of the drawers are suppose to be all gold but the handles came in gold with silver in the middle. The order was suppose to take up to three weeks to get to my house but only took three days, which was amazing. This is a cute small desk that can easily be used as a vanity or work/school desk. I would definitely recommend this desk to anyone.Packaged well! Delivered timely! No damages to box or desk! Easy assembly!This desk is so sturdy and the ease of only having to assemble JUST the legs was the main reason I bought THIS particular desk, besides its great look. 15 minutes from dragging it into the house to sitting pretty in my home office (I lost 3 minutes trying to get my cat out of the new box) My old custom-made desk was waaaay too long and encouraged clutter. Now THIS DESK, the drawers (I didn't have to assemble) hide so many sins like my gummy bear stash and a quick cleanup, lol. I'm probably getting a custom fit glass topper to complete the look. I was going to replace the handles (still might, later) but they grew on me. Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase.Super easy to assemble. The desk is already built you just have to screw on the 4 legs. I’m only giving 4 stars because I normally buy ikea furniture because they are extremely durable and not expensive at all. So I’m comparing quality and price here. The desk is cute for a girl so I will give you that. But the sturdiness and quality for the price I would say doesn’t come close to the value of an ikea desk for more than half the price. I only purchased this desk because ikea at the moment is sold out of all desks since the pandemic and has no actual restock date. I’m happy with this purchase but I do feel it was more expensive than what I would’ve preferred. Still cute though. We shall see how long it will hold up.I was looking for a vanity for a while and spent a long time trying to find the best one without spending a fortune. I decided on this one due to the cost, the large size of the two drawers, and that all it took to assemble was to screw the legs on. Many other desk reviews said it took multiple hours to assemble them, so this one is definitely a steal since it’s 99% finished when you get it. It seems pretty good quality, especially for the price. Mine had a very tiny scratch on one of the drawers when it arrived but you can’t even tell unless you’re looking super closely. I think a spot of paint will fix it right up. It was packaged up very well and everything else was in great condition.
