Got a great deal on this from the opened package site. I got it to be a "grown up" backpack. Messenger bags are uncomfortable for traveling and being on the go. I love the rich color; that it's soft but not floppy. It has great structure and the straps are moderately wide and very lightly padded--enough not to burrow into my shoulders over time.I'm 5'4 and the straps are comfortable for me though I've heard others complain.Also my laptop--a 13.3" Lenovo Yoga 2 fits well in the laptop pocket for reference to the bag's size.It'll be interesting to see how it ages, but so far I'm loving it.
