I have the original Sherwood Wisdom and recently upgraded to the Wisdom 3. I was surprised to find that the data transfer cables were not the same, and try as I might, I was not able to transfer data using the old cable. To add insult to injury, the new cable was not exactly inexpensive. With that said, the new cable works just as expected. It connects quickly to the DC, and the dive logs are easily and quickly transferred to the computer showing a full picture of the dive profile. I seem to recall difficulty with the old cable trying to transfer the data after each trip, so whether it's the upgrades to the new cable or the DC it'self I am please with the results. It would have been nice not to have to purchase yet another cable though.
